A child after my own heart!

This is my little class. They’re so much fun! I officially belong with little kids—I’m way too dorky anywhere else, but these guys (bless their little hearts)…they’re still too young to notice. It’s wonderful!

Alan likes to join us sometimes. He also likes to wear the waves around his neck during flannel-graph time.

He’s all into "tiny things" now. This morning (while we were coloring) he picked out all the shortest pencils he could find, and lined them up on his paper so he could gaze at them. He wouldn’t color with anything over 2” long.

Kids and curls. They’re always a hit. I curled the girls’ hair the night Katherine was born—they were way too excited to sleep anyway. So they got to go to the hospital the next day all curly-headed—and exceptionally pleased with themselves. I just found these pictures and remembered how cute they looked! You deserve to see them too.
